Luke's practice focuses on elder law issues and employment law, while also serving as a general practitioner for many clients in the area. Common elder law issues confronted are obtaining medicaid assistance for nursing home care, planning for the possibility of medicaid benefits in the future, guardianships, powers of attorneys, and other care-giving options.

Luke's focus on employment law ranges from counseling employers on proper procedures for
hiring, firing, and compensating in compliance with state and federal statutory requirements to
bringing suit on behalf of employees for violations by employers of those statutory
requirements.
